Digital Marketing Analyst

TechSoup administers and facilitates philanthropic and discounted offerings to Nonprofits and NGOs around the global helping them connect with their communities through digital transformation.  We actively communicate with TechSoup’s large global NGO community directly and through our strong partner network, serving 236 countries and territories, and manifested in dozens of program-focused and country-focused websites.

We are seeking a Marketing Analyst to join TechSoup’s Global Marketing/Communications/CX team.  Through cross platform data analysis and reporting and by the development of internal tools and capabilities, the Marketing Analyst will empower the Marketing team to refine and improve its understanding of our clients’ needs and interests, improve our clients’ user experiences, optimize the effectiveness of our communications with our clients, and maximize TechSoup’s impact on the global NGO community.

Responsibilities:

  • Reporting to the Senior Director, this role will report and optimize digital marketing programs for customer acquisition and retention including, but not limited to, the following channels: website, email, paid social media, display advertising, PLAs/Shopping, SEM, Partners and other marketing channels.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing department to develop and track marketing tests designed to increase new and returning customer traffic and conversion.
  • Generate and provide customer acquisition and marketing reporting, analytics and ad-hoc requests to leadership and other cross-functional management teams.
  • Maximize the analytical capabilities of our HubSpot implementation and assist with CRM data uploads, management, and integrations.
  • Develop capability for analysis and reporting based on data from multiple data sources, including Google Analytics, HubSpot, and internal SQL databases.
  • Develop and provide a data visualization, reporting, and analysis platform for use by the Marketing team and other TechSoup departments.

  • 3+ years related work experience in digital marketing analytics and marketing segmentation
  • Google Analytics, including views, reports, segments, goals, eCommerce, and multi-channel funnels
  • Google Tag Manager
  • Excel
  • SQL queries
  • Data visualization using Tableau, Power BI or similar tools
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in related field
