(Part-time Temporary to Permanent position - 25 hours per week)

Position Summary

TechSoup’s People & Culture team has the need for a highly motivated HR professional who enjoys working across all areas of Human Resources.  Our team supports a global organization of 200+ staff members.  This individual will assist with the execution and delivery of value-added HR services, including but not limited to: talent acquisition, compensation analysis, project management, developing enterprise-wide guidelines, and directing and coordinating human resources activities such as employment and employee services. The HRBP will develop effective relationships that promote company-wide trust and position HR as a strategic business partner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition (70%)

  • Will execute the full cycle recruitment process including but not limited to: posting, sourcing, screening, scheduling, interviewing, counseling, negotiating, offering and marketing TechSoup’s values
  • Work with the People & Culture team and hiring managers to clarify job specifications and recruitment strategies to fill current and future hiring needs and modify job descriptions as appropriate
  • Utilize our ATS (JazzHR), LinkedIn Recruiter, Glassdoor, employee referrals and networking to identify and contact qualified applicants for positions
  • Develop new sources to identify and proactively build a talent pool
  • Generate regular reporting and analysis of recruiting effort(s) relating to workforce planning
  • Proactively identify affirmative action/diversity recruitment sources; ensure diversity sources are part of the overall recruitment strategy, support affirmative action/diversity initiatives
  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting the recruitment process; ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance

Compensation (20%)

  • Managing compensation day-to-day responsibilities including job analysis, job evaluation, and responding to incoming inquiries / requests
  • Develops materials and trainings to educate staff on organization’s compensation policies and guidelines

Other (10%)

  • HRIS and ATS Administrator (Jazz HR, ADP Workforce Now)
  • Manage ADP to ensure accuracy of data for employee life cycle changes including all employee information, compensation, leaves of absence, and benefit information
  • Maintain all tables and generates custom reports for management based on requirements
  • May assist in benefits administration, leaves of absence, and other HR-related projects, as needed

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience

  • Bachelor's degree (BA) in Human Resources or related field (or equivalent in work experience)
  • Previous talent acquisition experience required
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources is required with 2-3 years specifically focused on  Recruiting and Compensation
  • Prior use of JazzHR and ADP Workforce Now (or similar platforms) preferred but not required

    • Knowledge of internal recruitment processes and procedures
    • Deep understanding of labor law and employment equity regulations

    • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret data and information

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to proactively communicate and build partnerships internally and externally at all levels
